Tool Life - Privacy Policy

The following discloses the privacy practices for Tool Life, the app provided by Theory 168 LLC. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by Tool Life. It will inform you of the following:

1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through Tool Life, how it is used, and with whom it may be shared.

3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection and Use
Theory 168 is the sole entity that has database-level access to the information and data collected on Tool Life. We only collect and store information and data that you voluntarily give us by email, during your sign-up for Tool Life, and during your use of Tool Life. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

In order to use Tool Life, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration, a user is required to provide an email address. Your email address is used to contact you in accordance with this privacy policy. Additionally, your email address is used as your personal identification for other Tool Life users to manage their organization, including searching by your email address to invite you to an organization.

Unless you opt-out, we may contact you via email to tell you about changes to Tool Life, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

If you contact us by email, we will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

• Change/correct any data we have about you.
• Have us delete any data we have about you.
• Express any concern you have about our use of your data.

Tool Life contains content generated by the Tool Life users. Theory 168 does not endorse any Tool Life users or content of any sort, nor is it responsible for Tool Life content. As such, Tool Life content may include occasional graphic, offensive, or inappropriate language, links, and images. We rely on our users to manage their Tool Life organization and maintain the safety and appropriateness of Tool Life content. Please immediately report any content you deem graphic, offensive, or inappropriate by emailing info@theory168.com.

Also, please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites that are linked to in Tool Life content. We encourage Tool Life users to be cautious when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on your device to help us improve your access to Tool Life and identify repeat visitors to our site. Our sole use of cookies is to store your login authorization; this reduces the number of times you have to login to Tool Life. However, please note that your data may be visible to other Tool Life user in your organization. It is your responsibility as an admin of such organization to manage your users and data. Also please keep in mind that no Tool Life data can ever be completely safe from unauthorized access, unintentional sharing, targeted attack, or general theft. Therefore, we recommmend not storing information in Tool Life which you consider critically sensitive or secret.

Wherever we collect payment information, such as credit card data, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. We do not store payment information in our databases. We rely on accredited payment services to handle the processing and ongoing storage (if any) of your payment information.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
